Above all else, our goal is to promote and perpetuate social change in the Siouxland communities that will benefit most from it. By empowering women and providing valuable leadership training, we are giving local women the tools to get involved, put their talents to work, and positively impact the communities of Siouxland.

As one of hundreds of Junior League chapters across the world, we are a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI). Established in 1921, the Junior League of Sioux City plays an integral part in the development, improvement, and support of the communities of Siouxland.

Our Local Impact

Right now, our focus is on empowering and supporting women and girls across Siouxland at every stage of life. Through a variety of community-driven initiatives, we work to remove barriers and create opportunities for women to thrive. Current efforts include projects like our Period Pantry Project, which helps ensure young women have access to essential hygiene products, and our annual prom dress pop-up sale, which makes milestone moments more affordable and accessible for local high school students. These initiatives represent just a portion of our work, with additional programs and partnerships planned for the future. Through all we do, we are committed to developing civic-minded leaders and creating lasting impact.
